Iron ore
Iron ore, which is a mineral ore, contains a collection of various substances, such as minerals and iron compounds. This stone, which holds one of the most vital materials in human life, iron, takes a very long journey to prepare for extraction. These stones are also a type of mineral stone and have the properties and characteristics of this type of stone. Therefore, iron ore is strong and hard and requires a lot of energy and time to separate iron from it.
There are 4 types of iron ore known as hematite, magnetite, limonite and siderite.
Hematite iron ore: Hematite, which is one of the most common and important minerals of iron ore, is iron oxide (Fe2O3) and usually appears in reddish brown.
The stone is usually mass-structured and is known for its high iron content. These stones are commonly used in the production of iron and steel.

Magnetite iron ore: Another type of magnetite iron ore that has the chemical formula Fe3O4.
This type of iron ore is usually black or grey in color and often shows a certain brightness. Magnetite is magnetic and can absorb iron objects. This stone is also known for its high iron content and is often used to produce steel.

Limonite iron ore: Limonite is an iron ore mineral that is composed of a mixture of minerals and is often seen as a brownish-yellow color. These stones are usually found in latrite deposits and are used in industries such as automotive and clothing.
Siderite iron ore: Siderite is a mineral of iron carbonate 3, and is used relatively less compared to hematite and magnetite.
The stone is usually brown in color and may show a certain brightness. This type of rock is usually an important source of iron, and although its iron content is lower compared to hematite and magnetite, it is used in many cases.
Detection method:
There are several methods by which magnetite iron ore can be identified and detected. Among these methods, eye diagnosis can be noted. In this method, magnetite stone is known for its color and appearance. Magnetite is typically black or brown in black. In general, the darker the color of the iron ore, the more likely it will be magnetite. This type of iron ore also has a metallic healing. Also, its appearance is of the type of octahedron crystal.
Another identification method considered for magnetite iron ore is related to the magnetic properties of this iron ore. This property makes it possible to separate it from other materials using magnetic methods. Of course, this method has problems, as if other iron ore, such as hematite, are also separated as waste products.
